Freddie Brown III: Keep Your Eyes on This Entrepreneur

Freddie Thomas Brown 3rd is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Over Achievers Entertainment LLC. He is a student at Georgetown University. How did the Overachievers begin? Overachievers began when a few friends and I threw a party on July 5 ,2003. The party was such a success that we decided to expand upon the concept of throwing social events. We then developed a business plan and took the necessary steps to establish the Overachievers. From that day forward, the Overachievers has been a premier source of entertainment in the DC area. What does a typical work day include? A typical work day includes various meetings with individuals who truly make the Overachievers the success that it is. From meetings with my lawyer to meetings with my employees, my typical work day is a busy one. How do you achieve the balance between school and work? It is very tough. I have learned useful time management skills over the years that have been very beneficial in running this company. I truly enjoy what I do so I do what I can to make it work. Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see the Overachievers expanded to serve college students throughout the east coast. I also see myself working as a venture capitalist to translate what I have learned with my current company into other business ventures. What phrase do you live by? Work hard. Play hard.
